"What are you making for dinner?"
"It's a new recipe."
"Yikes!"
This is what usually happens at my house. Recently, thanks to Pinterest, I have tried three new recipes that everyone agrees I should make again. Fueled by positive reinforcement, I feel happy about cooking again. I wonder how long it will last...
Here are links to my successes:
Enchilada Lasagne

Ladies from my tennis team. District Champions!
Butterfly on a Butterfly bush
Cassidy turned 17 last Friday. She chose Happy Sumo for her birthday dinner. She continually amazes me with her self-motivation. My tennis team played in the district tournament and advanced to sectionals. Which means we have another tournament playing winners from Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Montana, and Colorado at the end of the month. What an amazing way to exercise, play and socialize. I have made some life long friends. Summer is winding down. I saw acorns on the ground in the field behind my house this morning. It is getting darker at 5:45 when I leave to run. I'm wishing for an Indian (Native American) summer.

Good Stuff
Many years ago I was sampling at the grocery store. The sample was a ritz cracker with a dollop of cottage cheese sprinkled with salad supreme seasoning. So if you've never tried it, and you like cottage cheese, give it a try. Funny, I haven't blogged for over a year and this is what has inspired me to post.
