I was walking around the grocery store wondering what else we needed. It seems like I always forget at least one key item. Then I saw these........ yes!

washcloth graduation

I went to a class last night and learned to make this cute baby beanie. I have been learning to crochet very slowly for a few years. I started with washcloths, then an afghan and then this. Someday I aspire to make a dress. This makes 2 finished craft projects in one month. A new personal record.

Sisters

On this day 34 years ago I woke to an early phone call from my Dad telling me that I had a sister. I felt really lucky since I had three brothers at the time. What a wonderful thing it is to have a sister. I only have one so it makes her even more precious. Happy Birthday Erica.

Crafting

Last night I made this heart wreath while I watched the Australian Open. It was fun and foolproof. I loved pulling up to my house and seeing this vivid splash of cuteness hanging on my front door. This is where I got the idea.

Our family will be increasing in size this summer, and no I am not pregnant. Lindsay became officially engaged to Kelby Roth last Saturday. They are planning to be married on June 18th. Kelby is patient, kind, a hard worker and likes to save money. I think they will be great together.
